Elämä 4K - Press Kit
Elämä 4K is the thesis project of James Montour, it is the culmination of his research of timelapse photography and implementing technology in filmmaking effectively. The film features timelapse photography of Michigan, both natural and artificial, and combines them to form a rich visual experience for the viewer. Elama 4K was shot over the summer of 2013, and sparingly throughout the Fall and Winter months of 2013 and 2014.
The film was shot in 5K using a Canon 60D and Nikon D5100 and edited in 4K UHD (3840x2160) in Adobe Premiere CC and After Effects CC.
The Making Of Elama 4K
Elämä 4K was spawned from James' interest and love of timelapse photography, which started when he was five after seeing a timelapse of a flower opening on PBS.>>>
