Elämä – Update (10-22-13) and Misc

Things are moving along slowly but surely. I have right around half of the timelapses I shot over the summer ready for post, and I’m planning to shoot some more in the coming weeks. I’ll be able to buy some of the parts needed for my workstation computer soon, I should be able to spend at least $500 on parts though I am hoping for closer to $800. That would allow me to buy the case, motherboard, and the SSD. If it were the $500 though, then I’d only be able to get the motherboard but I would probably still buy the case first just so I have somewhere to keep the hardware I buy.

For those curious, this is the part list for the computer I am building:

In other miscellaneous news, I am going to be experimenting with a Raspberry Pi and its camera module for use in my experimental video 2 course. I am pretty stoked to start playing with one since I’ve worked with Arduino’s before. So hopefully that works out and I can make some cool stuff with it.
